ABOUT

Medusa Story

As legend has it, the Gorgon Medusa—with her gaze of stone and hair of serpent coils—was not merely a creature of myth, but a ancient symbol of protection and power across the Mediterranean. When her face was placed at the center of the Trinacria, the three-pointed symbol of Sicily, she became the island’s eternal guardian. For centuries, her image stood watch over a fertile, conquered land, warding off evil and anchoring the island's rich, storied history.
